iPhone 6SE insurance
The best iPhone 6SE insurance shouldn't just be simple and cheap to buy - it should also give you confidence that should the worst happen you'll get a repair or replacement with no nasty surprises. That's why at Tinhat we offer:

Why buy iPhone 6SE insurance?
The iPhone 6SE hasn't been announced yet, but we already have a fairly good idea of what it's going to look like. It's likely to share the same dimensions as the iPhone 6 and 6s, and the design will probably be very similar too, with a rounded anodised aluminium case. Improvements are likely to come from a faster processor and an innovative dual lens camera that could make a huge difference to image quality. One of the new features we're particularly excited to see is waterproofing. Samsung have already had great success in making their flagship Galaxy phones waterproof, and it would be great to see Apple follow suit. They've already made the iPhone 6s the most water resistant iPhone yet, but we expect the iPhone 6SE to be the first iPhone with an official IPX rating.
It's likely cost a similar amount to the current iPhone 6s, at around £539 for the base model. So it's an expensive phone that you'll want to look after. If you were to drop an iPhone 6SE there's a good chance that you'd crack the display, and that's likely to cost in the region of £90 to fix. To replace it due to loss, theft or irreparable damage would cost at least another £539, which is a bitter pill to swallow! So if you think there's a reasonable chance that you could drop or lose your iPhone you'll probably want to consider buying iPhone insurance for it.
Apple do offer their own extended warranty called AppleCare+, but there are limits on the number of claims that this covers, and it doesn't cover theft or accidental loss. Tinhat iPhone 6SE insurance costs just £6.49 a month, or £7.49 a month if you need full loss cover. We also have one of the lowest excess fees in the market, at only £50 per claim.
We're also one of the first mobile phone insurers to offer a no claims bonus to our customers. If you insure your iPhone 6SE today and don't claim in the first year, your excess fee will reduce by 25% when you make a claim. It reduces by a further 25% for each year of no claims that you have with us - so if you still have no claims after 4 years you won't have to pay any excess if you then make a claim.
What's covered?
Accidental damage (including liquid damage)
Covers you for if you accidentally crack the screen on your iPhone 6SE, plus any other damage that stops your iPhone from functioning normally. This doesn't include general wear and tear or purely cosmetic damage.
Mechanical breakdown
Covers you for any repairs and replacements to your iPhone if it suddenly stops working outside Apple's warranty period. By renewing your policy with us you can continue to cover your iPhone 6SE for a further 5 years.
Worldwide cover
This policy keeps you covered for the use of your iPhone anywhere in the world for up to 90 days in any 1 year.
Theft
Covers you for any damage or loss resulting from your iPhone 6SE being stolen, as long as it is in your possession or stored in a secure place out of sight.
Unauthorised calls
If your iPhone is lost or stolen we will cover up to £2,500 of unauthorised usage.
Accidental loss (additional £1 a month)
Covers you for the replacement of your iPhone if you accidentally lose it.
What happens if I lose or damage my iPhone 6SE?
Our iPhone insurance covers you for accidental damage (including liquid damage) as standard, so if you break it you'll first need to submit a claim. Once your claim is approved you will need to pay an excess fee of £50 and supply your evidence of ownership - and then you'll be asked to send your iPhone in to one of our specialist repair centres. If it's more convenient, you may also be able to take your iPhone to your local Apple store to be repaired - but this needs to be agreed with our policy administrator once your claim is approved.
If your iPhone is stolen then you will need to contact your network provider immediately to report this and block any unauthorised usage, and you'll need to report it to the police and supply our policy administrator with the crime reference number. Once your claim is approved and you've supplied evidence of ownership and paid the £50 excess fee, we'll send you a replacement iPhone 6SE.
